Methodology and limitations
How the report is formed
FounderSync is a structured decision-support assessment. It compares what two founders say about their expectations; it does not test personalities or predict whether a partnership will succeed.
What information the report uses
Each founder answers the same 20 questions across seven areas: Vision & Scale, Money & Exit, Work Style, Conflict & Communication, Family & Life, Roles & Power, and Dealbreakers & Trust. Report generation uses both founders' submitted answers and their account names. The founders answer independently and cannot view each other's raw responses.
What the observations mean
The report organizes observations as stated alignment, needs clarification, or a difference to discuss. The generation instructions distinguish explicit disagreement from ambiguity, missing information, and differences in emphasis. Different preferences are not automatically incompatible.
How AI is used
Both sets of written responses and founder names are sent through the Lovable AI Gateway to an underlying language model. The model is instructed to paraphrase relevant expectations, state uncertainty, avoid hidden-motive claims, and provide neutral discussion questions. The standard report workflow does not include human review.
What the report cannot establish
A report can miss context or misinterpret an answer. It cannot establish compatibility, determine which founder is right, predict success or failure, replace working together, or provide legal, financial, therapeutic, or mediation advice.
Reviewing a report
